Kind Words

Who better to tell you about me than not me?

  • Angie made a permanent change in our business, in the highest of manners. We went from a traditional business to our targeted goals of a younger audience with memorable campaigns. Over 10 years later, people still regularly speak to our marketing. Engaging Angie and implementing her creativity was one of the best things I have ever done professionally.

  • Angie has an amazing gift. She takes the truth and makes it fascinating. Eighteen years ago when I hired her into the agency, I told her she had the potential to become the best advertising copywriter this province had ever seen. True to form, Angie never disappoints.

  • Angie is one of the most talented writers I've had the opportunity to work with, and without a doubt the most creative. Whenever my communications strategy hinges on innovative, smart, bold copywriting, Angie is my first call.

  • Angie is one of a kind. She has created a fun-but-professional online persona for our business that is truly relatable to our clientele. Our brand awareness and social media presence have grown exponentially since Angie came onboard. Our Facebook followers went from 1,000 to 5,300 in just over 18 months. This has been invaluable to us as we use this base of followers to find everything from new clients to chef-teachers. Not only is Angie a gifted wordsmith, she is also incredibly easy to work with. Angie has shown time and again that she is committed to our success by being agile and responding to the constantly changing needs of our business. I would highly recommend Angie to anyone looking to develop their company’s personality.

  • Angie is a wordsmith beyond comparison. Her ability combines strategic thinking, marketing savvy, incredible wit, and some form of word magic that only she understands. What is astounding to me is Angie's consistency. Her ability to have ideas that uniquely solve a communication problem — and that resonate in a deeply human way — over-and-over, regardless of which project we are working on is... well... kinda freaky. If you need words that strike the right chord with the right audience, call Angie.

  • Angie Hicks was contracted to help develop a creative brand for the City’s 2015 University Bridge Project, which involved the closure of one of Saskatoon’s most traversed bridges for extensive rehabilitation work. The “Pain in the Asphalt” theme represented a fresh direction for the City of Saskatoon’s road program communications and its humour and empathetic tone were received positively by the community. With Angie’s support, the City was able to break new ground and explore a new tone and style of communication. We look forward to developing future campaigns that engage Angie’s creativity.

  • I have had the pleasure of knowing Angie Hicks for more than 15 years and I can honestly say that I’ve never met anyone that cared more deeply about what they did and how they worked with a client. Passionate doesn’t even come close to describing Angie, she’s much more than that. She’s honest, she’s reliable and truly cares about the projects and business she works on. She is a brilliant strategist and writer and I’m proud to know her!
